APPROACH

There is a constant circular movement within us that reflects the greater rhythms that surround us. What is true for the macro is true for the micro. Our ability to accommodate for changes in our environment—whether this be seasonal changes, work stress, diet, or external pathogens—reflects the health of the body. Wellness resides in the balance of strength and flexibility. When we are in balance, the rhythms and cycles of the internal workings of the body (sleep cycles, digestion, menstrual cycles) all work better. When we are out of balance, the flow of these cycles breakdown and we are unable to accommodate that which we encounter from the outside world. The focus of my practice is to identify what is or is not moving—what is out of balance and not in alignment—and assist the body in reestablishing resiliency, strength, and balance. I work in collaboration with my clients, believing strongly that the patient is the expert of their own body. Listening, communication, and rapport are essential to the working relationship that I have with my clients.
